BW Readers Pass 3.5 Million Pages
Belleville West reads! The BW English Department challenged the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes to each read one million pages of pleasure reading during this school year. At the end of the fourth triad, each class is more than 80% of the way to the goal!
At the end of the fourth triad, the SOPHOMORE CLASS has reclaimed the top spot, with 908,974 pages of pleasure reading. (The sophomore class read 240,147 pages during the fourth triad—an average of 443 pages per sophomore.) These sophomore classes read the most pages during the fourth triad:
Mr. Johnson’s first hour – 19,567 pages
Mr. Johnson’s fifth hour – 19,418 pages
Ms. Schloesser’s fourth hour – 17,601 pages
Mr. Jenkins’s second hour – 15,629 pages
